17 days/ 16 nights Egypt and Kenya: Combine these two classic but contrasting destinations into one unforgettable travel experience with a 5 night safari through the Amboselli and Masai Mara game preserves, a 4 night cruise on the Nile from Aswan to Luxor and a visit to Cairo's most famous sites, the Pyramids, Sphinx and Museum of Antiquities.

The Itinerary
Day 1: Friday	Depart JFK via Egyptair's non-stop service to Cairo at 11:00pm.
Day 2: Saturday	Arrive Cairo International Airport at 4:30pm, meeting and assistance through customs and transfer to the hotel.
Day 3: Sunday	AM: Visit to the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx and the Valley Temple. PM: Visit to the Egyptian Museum. Visit to the Citadel, the Alabaster and Sultan Hassan Mosques and the Khan El Khalili Bazaar. Evening: Transfer from the hotel to the airport for flight to Nairobi. Transfer from the airport to the hotel. (B,D)
Day 4: Monday	Early morning arrival in Nairobi. Balance of the day at leisure or take an optional tour to the city market or the Giraffe Center.
Day 5: Tuesday	Drive north towards the slopes of Mt. Kenya, the country's highest peak., for an overnight in a tented camp. See your first elephant, rhino and chimps. Enjoy an evening cocktail by a watering hole as you watch gazelles and warthog. (B,L,D)
Day 6-7: Wednesday & Thursday	Admire the traditional dress styles of the local people as you explore the vast terrain of the Samburu Park, home to thousands of species of wildlife. (B,L,D)
Day 8-9: Friday & Saturday	Drive through Kenya's great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara, Kenya's greatest wildlife preserve. See prides of lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, gazelles and abundant bird life. (B,L,D)
Day 10: Sunday	Return to Nairobi for overnight. (B,L,D)
Day 11: Monday	Early AM: Transfer to Nairobi Airport for flight to Cairo. Meet and assist and transfer to the hotel. PM: Free for a second visit to the Egyptian Museum or shopping in the bazaar. (B)
Day 12: Tuesday	AM: Transfer from the hotel to the airport for flight to Aswan. Transfer from the airport to the Nile Cruise ship. (B,L,D)
Day 13-17: Tuesday - Saturday	On board the cruise with visits to Aswan, Kom Ombo, Edfu, Karnak and Luxor Temple, the Valley of the Kings and Queens, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. (B,L,D)
Day 17: Saturday	Transfer from the hotel to the airport for flight to Cairo. Transfer from the airport to the hotel. (B)
Day 18: Sunday	AM: Transfer from the hotel to the airport for final departure to JFK at 9:00am.
